Alpha Coffee is a collective of farmers , in the Eastern Highlands and Jiwaka Provinces of Papua New Guinea, who have come together to form a collective of farmers who wish to collectively market their coffee internationally to return a higher price. The Collective of coffee Farmers grow their coffee at high altitudes of 4000m above sea level, in the Asaro Valley (Near Goroka) and the Jimi Valley (Jiwaka,) in perfect coffee growing temperature and humidity levels. The coffee is grown using traditional methods, without use of pesticides and fertilizer and gives off complex flavors that are robust in flavor yet maintain a sense of delicacy that lacks the acidity that ruins the vast majority of coffee brands.Coffee is a complex agricultural crop that deserves the extreme care in the several stages of coffee Production to maintain its uniqueness, highlighting the importance of quality control in the processing of our farmers and their processing of beans. Our farmers depend entirely on Coffee as a cash crop to sustain them for their livelihood and a means of their very existence. These farmers have expenses like school fees, health care, and basic necessities for their livelihoods.
